All across social media, you will see that the audience is questioning Disney and its reasoning behind the costing. Because people are not liking the cast of Snow White. The live action movie which was made after the folklore cannot be seen as the princess movie we have been watching since our childhood.
Today we are going to dive into the reasons for backlash of the snow white live action.
Not everything is wrong with the Snow White live action movie. Apart from the casting decisions you can see in the movie, you will see many good aspects too. In the latest movie you can see that the Queen has shown her area of colourful. You cannot see any kind of darkness lurking around her because this is a kids movie. Apart from this if you see the original movie you will realise that that movie was for all ages but this movie is for kids only.
Keeping these things in mind Disney has really forgotten that it’s real legacy was to keep every aspect of the movie real not fake. Then there were the dwarfs. Their transformation and VFX effects really turned people into questioning the reason behind these decisions of Disney. Some people were even debating if it was worthy to include the dwarfs.
Apparently, you can see that the dwarf dope is talking in this movie. Moreover, he is actually the narrator of the whole story. You can see him frequently narrating stories of Snow White and the queen. Although dope is giving a huge speech about oppression and standing up against it.
You are expecting more from the dwarfs and doppy. But in the climate there was no mention of the dwarfs or their oppression. One thing we get after watching the movie is that Disney was trying to add some more touch to the movie.
Which is a good aspect and thinking, but we did not see that modern era in the snow world character. Apparently Snow White was still spending her time bringing out the merciful side of the queen. And once again even in the water remake the Snow White force for the Queen tricks and she eats the poison apple in this movie again. If Disney wanted to modernise then it should have added another aspect of the movie. This should have been deleted instead there should’ve been something else.
